Title analysis

Updated October 29, 2026

'Case Closed Part 3 (Dubbed)' is the Korean-dubbed version of the story of Nam Do-il, a high school detective who was turned into a child's body by the schemes of the Black Organization and now lives under the name 'Conan' while solving cases, and it aired and was released in 2025. To protect himself and the people around him, he hides his identity and stays at the home of his childhood friend Mi-ran, and he solves difficult cases in place of a famous detective who is poor at deduction.

The tension of this series comes from a protagonist whose appearance and abilities are mismatched. Even when Conan knows the answer to a case, it is hard for him to step forward himself in a child's form, so he has to borrow the place of the renowned detective to reveal the truth. This constraint twists the process of solving once more, so that the fun of finding the culprit and the tension of avoiding exposure of his identity work together within a single scene. Underlying it is the goal of uncovering the truth about the Black Organization that turned him into a child, which becomes the force that carries the story beyond individual cases.

Part 3 is available on Wavve with a subscription. Because it is dubbed in Korean, you can listen to the dialogue and focus on the clues on screen without reading subtitles, making it easy to watch together with young viewers who are not used to reading.
