Misaeng: Incomplete Life

As of October 15, 2026, you can watch it on Wavve (Subscription).

It is a 2014 Series. Office workers commute to a battlefield every day. Even in an office that looks completely peaceful from the outside, take a closer look and you can easily find people engaged in a fierce struggle with faceless counterparts through computers or over the phone. Even without exaggerated shouting into telephones or busily running around holding stacks of documents, a fierce psychological war is underway through rapid keyboard clacking and quietly spoken words. It is just like the intense strategic duel between Go players across a Go board in absolute silence. 'Misaeng' tells the story of a protagonist for whom Go was everything in life, who is thrown into harsh reality after failing to become a professional player. He wants to forget Go, but paradoxically, the key to solving the problems that confront him lies in the insights he gained from Go. 'Go, which ultimately has no impact on the world. But to me, Go is everything…' Just like these words by Cho Chi-hun 9-dan, who played a match in a wheelchair after a car accident, this work aims to be an anthem for all healthy office workers across this land who do their best at their jobs even if it seems minor and trivial to others, striving to be recognized by 'work' rather than 'politics.'

Starring Lim Si-wan, Lee Sung-min, Kang So-ra, Kang Ha-neul, Kim Dae-myeung, Byun Yo-han, Shin Eun-jeong, Tae In-ho.
